I’m a few months into being diagnosed with adult ADD. I had it as a kid and took meds for a bit, after.l struggling for a long time with anxiety, hypersensitivity (especially in relationships) and difficult with attention I decided to try meds. First I tried Dex. It made an amazing difference. I felt tightness in my chest subside, I was so much more relaxed and present and it helped with my focus too. I only need one of half a tablet. That effect lasted about 4 weeks, I honestly felt fixed. Over time though, and shortly after Christmas I recall, it started to just overstimulate me. It stopped having the calming effect, and I became increasingly jittery on it, or just felt nothing if I took a half a tablet. I tried Vyvance on recommendation of my psyc and it just didn’t wear off quick enough and wrecked my sleep, even if I took it early in the morning. So I’m a bit stuck, I don’t really know why the Dex worked so well but isn’t anymore. Anyone else had a similar experience?

I have had a lot of experience with Dexedrine. I've been taking it for over two decades.
